Seven Negatives Emotion. How to transform them? - Healing Our Life

On November 14 at 7:30 PM
Venue: Zest Cafe

Seven negative emotions..
Seven virtues...
Whats all this about??!

7 negative emotions, how to transform them?
So the four of us discussed on these verbs one by one. How they affect us. What does it mean when we often have these emotions especially the negative ones. Where they come from, as in how did we first "catch" these emotions to start with. And why are we stuck with it? Example.. why do we keep getting angry at every turn, irritated at slightest remark that disturbs us?

What do we do next? So what if we know all these things? What's next? What's the use of it?
That was the point of this event!
We discussed on how to muster it.. what should we do when we have it and how to overcome it.
It was a very interesting topic and discussion.

Rosemieen who hosted this event Seven Negatives Emotion. How to transform them? - Healing Our Life or at Healing Our Life- Seven Negatives Emotion. The 7 negative emotions, 7virtues are tag lines used everywhere. Be it the bible, the Quran, spirituality. You will hear them everywhere. You might not remember them when I mention it, but if you think back to the sermons you hear, to the spiritual classes you attend. They all talk bout being good vs bad, good habits vs bad habits.

This is something like that. Only it doesn't give you sermons. It shows you in practical modes on how we go about being more aware, walk into ourselves, and practice good thoughts and behaviours.

Ok ok. Enough of all the background talks.
What the **** is it anyway?? haha. Let's get it out in the open.

The 7 negative emotions involved are "Wrath, Greed, Lust, Sloth, Envy, Gluttony and Pride"
The 7 virtues are "Peace, Generosity, Purity of Intent, Courage, Compassion, Temperance & Humility"
Sounds familiar?
